We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Technical Artist to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating compelling animations and implementing them seamlessly within Unity. This role combines artistic skills with technical know-how to enhance the visual experience of our games.

Responsibilities

  • Animate visually appealing game elements including gameplay, home screen, transitions, and features.
  • Collaborate with the design team to understand and meet the artistic vision for each project.
  • Implement animations and other graphic elements in Unity, ensuring optimal performance and quality.
  • Develop tools and scripts to streamline art processes.
  • Maintain a consistent aesthetic across all visual elements of the game while adhering to technical constraints.
  • Provide technical support to the art team, solving complex technical issues related to art production.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the visual and technical quality of our games.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Technical Artist in the gaming industry, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills.
  • Expertise in 2D animation and excellent knowledge of Unity game development engine. Experience with Spine 2D is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of animation principles and techniques.
  • Ability to create visually stunning assets and animations with minimal impact on performance and memory usage
  • Ability to write custom scripts and tools to enhance workflow efficiencies. Shader knowledge is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and autonomy.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Graphics, Art, or a related field is preferred.
